Sheppard T. Powell Associates, LLC (STPA) technical team members come from a number of educational backgrounds – including chemical engineering, environmental engineering, materials science, chemistry, biology, safety management, and business administration. Some technical team members have previous work experience with other organizations – which include engineering firms, private industry, and government and research firms.

The Partnership arrangement established in 1958 continues to serve as the basis for the management and organizational structure of Sheppard T. Powell Associates, LLC (STPA). Consulting services are provided by Associates, Staff Consultants, Engineers, and Consulting Engineering Assistants. The Metallurgical Director also is available to provide consulting services. Comprehensive chemical and metallurgical services are provided by the laboratory.
